How We Formed!

Our organization has been registered as a non-government society on 29-03-2008 and its headquarter is situated in Kolkata, West Bengal, India. Before our name is registered we started our journey by tree plantation and charity work. Through the hard work and dedication and determination of our team, we have enrolled our name. It begins with the civil society – when people initiate positive actions that can change lives and the course of history.”

What Did We Do?

Eaimon –A Society for Helpless is registered with the Registry of Societies under WEST BENGAL SOCIETIES REGISTRATION ACT, XXVI of 1961. At Eaimon, we have always

acknowledged the possibilities and potential of this phenomenon. Civic Driven Change has been a founding principle of the organization. Along with our work at the grassroots, we have been making consistent efforts to sensitize and involve corporate, local government bodies, individuals, institutions, media, and the larger civil society in the process of bringing sustainable change at the grassroots. In a journey of over 14 years, Eaimon has directly impacted the lives of more and more people, children, and their families. This has only been possible through meaningful collaboration and positive partnerships. Eaimon is a non-profit, non-government organization based in West Bengal which has been functioning since 2008 and become a registered body in 2008. We work for the betterment and upliftment of socio-economically backward people and for society.
Eaimon’s mission is to “work for the development & empowerment of socio-economically disadvantaged & vulnerable people and families in West Bengal and assist them in addressing their poverty-linked issues.” The initiatives sponsored by the foundation target improvements in basic human needs: providing clean water and sanitary, hygienic infrastructure for its citizens. The poorest citizens do not have the political resources or economic power to bring about change; the Foundation strives to fill this void to provide solutions and improvements.
The basic mission and core purpose of the Eaimon are to improve the quality of life of citizens living in some of the poorest and worst conditions anywhere in West Bengal and the world. The foundation is inspired by four basic pillars that define the best of the human experience as exemplified by Mother Teresa: Compassion, Service, Empowerment, and Education.
To provide a healthy environment for the marginalized and underprivileged section by creating a safe, conducive, prosperous and progressive society. Empower socially and an economically backward section especially the youth by developing their skills in various fields including the latest technology, education, marketing, and entrepreneurship.
